Ways to Submit Prayer Requests

First Baptist Church Cameron offers several ways to submit prayer requests to the Prayer Ministry. No matter what’s on your heart, use one of the options listed below to share your requests so our staff and prayer volunteers can intercede on your behalf:

  • ONLINE via the Prayer Request form below
  • CALL the FBC Cameron prayer line: 254.697.6477
  • WRITE your requests on the Welcome Card found in the worship services each Sunday
  • IN PERSON in the church office located across the hall from the Worship Center

Volunteer Prayer Opportunities

The Prayer Ministry at FBC Cameron provides various opportunities for you to serve by praying for the church, our members, our missionaries, and more. See the different options listed below. Prayer During Worship Services

Every Sunday the prayer team gathers in the pastor’s office prior to the 10:45am service to pray earnestly from the Word of God during our morning worship service for Pastor Patrick, the Worship Team, and the congregation, as well as for those who do not know Christ as their Lord and Savior! We know that as we are praying the Word of God, He is mightily at work in the lives of those we are praying for.

Consecration: Prayer Before Worship

Come join with other members of our church every Sunday morning before the worship service for an amazing time as we consecrate (set apart) the Worship Center. Meet on Sundays at 9a in the Worship Center.

Missionary Prayer Time

Please join us for this time of prayer and intercession on behalf of our missionaries. The missionary prayer time allows us to be a part of what God is doing through our missionaries by praying for them. This is a powerful and vital part of the Great Commission to reach the world for Christ.

Sunday Service Prayer Partners

This prayer time happens at the conclusion of each worship service when Pastor gives the invitation for any church membership/prayer decision. The prayer partners will be assigned a specific spot inside the worship center to receive any one who comes forward during the invitation that the Pastor leads the church in.

Prayer Request Intercessors

The intercessor will pray over the many prayers requests and needs submitted from our church body. The prayer intercessor will either call to pray, or email and inform the person that he/she was prayed for.

Prayer Event(s) Intercessors

This type of prayer opportunity is specific to events within FBC Cameron. There are a few ways in which prayer intercession for events could look like. The first, would be to intercede throughout the event with a group of people located in a specific location within FBC Cameron. The other prayer opportunity would be that the intercessor would be available for special times of prayer during the event to pray over people.
